We provide you with a calendar for your car, so you can see when it has bookings and book it for your own use. Anytime that you have not booked the car for yourself, it's available for Borrowers to book instantly.

You can use the calendar block out the times when your car is not available for Borrowers, whether you need your car for a one-off trip or a recurring time each week. 

It's easy to manage your car's availability using your online calendar. 

How to block out your car for your own use

There are two ways to block out your car for your own use:

1: Using the calendar to block out time

Log in to your Dashboard and select the calendar.

Either drag and drop to select the times you want to block out, or enter the start and end times in the fields at the right. Click 'Add new blockout'.

If you would like to block out this same time each week, tick the 'Repeat weekly' box on the right.


To cancel a block out, go to your car's calendar, select the block out you would like to cancel, and click 'Remove selected block out'. You can also choose to remove all future block outs.

2: Quickly booking for last-minute trips

Log in to your Dashboard or the app.

Enter the start and end times of your booking, and click 'Book now'.



To cancel a booking you have made on your car, log into the Dashboard and click on 'My Trips'. Click to view the details of the booking you would like to cancel and select 'cancel booking'.

Availability policy 

Keep in mind that you need to keep your car available for bookings at least 50% of the weekdays and 50% of the weekend days on average in order to be eligible for the $60/month membership fee. See the Fair Availability Policy FAQ for more detail. 

If you're eligible for the Income Guarantee, additional availability requirements apply.
