Most car owners don't notice any additional servicing requirements because of the low kilometres added by Borrowers' driving.

The total mileage is still normally below the average distance driven by a car within the servicing schedule.

You receive 25 cents per kilometre your Borrowers drive, which for most cars exceeds the cost of fuel, tyre wear and servicing caused by that extra driving.

(The running costs for the average medium car, including fuel is between 14c and 24c a kilometre - Check the 'running costs' columns in the RACQ running costs guide for more info.)
